Hanamaru Group's Policy for Protecting Personal Information
The Hanamaru Group collects, uses and manages personal information within the necessary scope of providing educational guidance to pre-school, elementary school, junior high school and senior high school students. In regards to this personal information, our group officially announces in the following section our policies related to the protection of personal information which follow the stipulations in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

1.Collection of personal information
The Hanamaru Group shall, in order to provide appropriate services (providing information related to examinations and undertaking educational guidance), obtain personal information through legal and impartial means, such as online applications, handling designated forms which have been filled out, or information heard via telephone or in-person conversations.
2.Purpose of using personal information
The Hanamaru Group shall use the personal information described in 1 above for the purposes described below.
(1) Contacting members.
(2) Shipping of educational materials, or offering guidance related to classes or educational guidance.
(3) Class management, including attendance rolls.
(4) Displaying class changes or additional classes for members.
(5) Management of particulars related to members (such as lecture applications, additional classes, grades or income and expenditure).
(6) Emergency contact.
(7) Other processing of matters necessary for the proper operation of the Hanamaru Group.
3.Management of Personal Information
The Hanamaru Group shall, in order to safeguard against risks such as unauthorized access, loss, damage or leakage of information, employ reasonable measures, both organizational and technical, in regards to the personal information we are provided.
4.Joint Use of Personal Information
The Hanamaru Group shall use the personal information of its customers jointly with schools which have franchise contracts with Koyu Co., Ltd.
(1) Purpose of Joint Usage
The same purposes as listed above in 2.
(2) Examples of Personal Information which is Jointly Used
Names, addresses, school names, places of employment, phone numbers, FAX numbers, email addresses, birth dates, genders, and information regarding income and expenditure.

5.The display, amendment, suspension of use and deletion of personal information
The Hanamaru Group shall, display, amend, suspend the use of, or delete personal information should such a request be made by the person in question or their guardians, as soon as said request is received.
6.Compliance
The Hanamaru Group shall continually review and improve their system of protecting personal information to meet environmental changes, while complying with laws and regulations related to the Personal Information Protection Law.
