Courses from the 1st grade to the 3rd grade

The learning concept for children from 1st grade to 3rd grade is building a “foundation for learning” where children feel like playing instead of studying.

For the lower-grade students of elementary school, to “build a foundation” in an early stage is the first priority where children can progress in learning such things as “the ideal sitting posture”, “the correct pencil grasp for handwriting” and “listening skill”. Besides, do not fall into the trap of becoming “know-it-all students”. It’s common that children would feel difficult to catch up with 3rd and 4th grade story problems, then starting to be left out, even if they have learned higher-level calculation in advance. In this case, student might be totally left behind in 5th, 6th and 7th grade. Therefore, in order to prevent from such case, it is important to build children’s ‘knowledge capacity’ as mentioned before. By building a firm foundation, a significant development can be expected after children turn 10 years old, when learning system becomes more complicated.
